Apple Pie Spice Mix

Apple Pie Spice Mix

Apple pie spice is one of those spice blends you need to know. It’s pretty straightforward. You can play around with the spices and their origins (Thailand, Mexico, India, Myanmar, West Indies) to get your preferred taste. Ceylon cinnamon, by the way, has the purest variety (with the least amount of heavy metals).

I like to keep empty spice jars to store my spice mixes.

Add all of the ground ingredients to a bowl and mix well.

Store the apple pie spice mix in a container with a tight-fitting lid.
