My basic blackening seasoning is good for shellfish, poultry, fish, pork, and beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs paprika sweet
  • 1 tbs paprika smoked
  • 1 1/2 tbs salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp cayenne ground
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp ground fennel seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix thoroughly. Keep in an airtight container until use.
